Welcome!

Welcome to the website of the Butte Falls School District.

Butte Falls is a small town of less than 500 people nestled in the mountains east of the Rogue Valley in southern Oregon. Butte Falls is in the heart of the Rogue River National Forest surrounded by tall evergreens and next to the Big Butte Creek. The town's name sake is a fifteen foot waterfall a short hike from the center of the community.

Two schools make up the district: a K-7 elementary and an 8-12 high school. Although we are a small school district of less than 200 students we are full of potential and opportunities. Our community takes great pride in our schools and the achievements of our students. Students in the Butte Falls School District participate in a number of activities, clubs, and sports that take them throughout the state and nation. We have high academic standards and excel in athletics and activities.

As the Superintendent/Principal it is my honor to work with some truly outstanding students and an exceptional staff of dedicated professionals. It is the goal of our district to prepare each child to be successful in any endeavor they may choose. It is a challenging mission but one that the staff looks forward to everyday.
